The Funky Fish – Dublin’s Newest Cocktail Club

Dublin’s newest late night club is The Funky Fish, just opened on Dawson Street at the rear of The Seafood Bar by Wrights of Howth. Open Thursday to Sunday, with a late licence, signature cocktails, seafood platters and DJ Mo Kelly every Friday, it’s the perfect place for post dinner cocktails or a Christmas get together.

Enjoy an aperitif in The Gin Bar as you enter, dine in The Seafood Bar restaurant in the main section of the room and finish your night in The Funky Fish Cocktail Club, to enjoy a perfect night out, all under one roof.

Since opening just two weeks ago, The Seafood Bar by Wright’s of Howth is already welcoming a regular clientele with reservations for the busy pre-Christmas period at a premium. Manager Martina Fox ensures that whether drinking, dining or partying, customers enjoy the very best experience.

Signature Cocktails at the Funky Fish

– Aquarium €13.95
Homemade rosemary infused gin, Blue Curacao with fresh lime juice and a dash of sugar syrup and garnished with orange peel, rosemary and skittles pebbles!

– Salted Caramel Espresso Martini  €13.95
This signature drink combines vodka, Patron Cafe, with a kick of freshly pressed espresso and a hint of salted caramel. Garnished with fresh coffee beans.

– Red Mint €13.95
In-house infused lemon and lime vodka with blood orange liquor muddled raspberries and a dash of lime juice, garnished with fresh mint.

– Fig Capirinha  €13.95
We have recreated this Brazilian classic using fresh fig, cachaca and garnished with fig shells.

– The Nutcracker  €12.95
This seasonal drink combines an egg white with bourbon, hazelnut liquor, a touch of orgeat syrup and a splash of fresh lime. Finished with a thick froth and garnished with freshly grated nutmeg.

– Mollies Tea €13.95
This signature cocktail is a bright infusion of green tea with a bite of Irish Mist and coupled with floral notes of elderflower liquor and garnished with a rhubarb shrub.

– The Black Pearl €12.95
House infused blackberry vodka and Chambord liquor with a dash of lime to break the sweetness. Topped with fresh berries.

– Gill’s Cosmopolitan €11.95
For our take on this 1930’s classic we use our house infused lemon and lime vodka, Creme de Violette and white cranberry juice.

– Black Cherry Chocolate €13.95
This reminiscent classic combines the familiar flavors of house-infused black cherry vodka, white chocolate liquor and black cherry juice.

– Bloody Mary €13.95
For this classic cocktail we infuse our own vodka with fiery chili and basil, a splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice, Pago tomatoes juice a dash of Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco and black pepper. Garnished with celery and a slice of lemon.

Classics

– Whiskey Sour €11.95
Egg white shaken over ice with bourbon, sugar syrup and fresh lime juice.

– Old Fashioned €11.95
Bourbon combined with sugar, angostura bitters and garnished with an orange peel.

– Gin Vodka Martini €11.95
Made how you like it, gin or vodka, shaken or stirred with martini and as dirty or sweet as you like!

– Lychee Daiquiri €11.95
This fruity cocktail is made from rum, Cointreau, lychee syrup and freshly squeezed lime juice.

– Mojito €11.95
The mojito is a tall refreshing drink comprising of rum, freshly squeezed limejuice pressed mint leaves, brown sugar and soda water.
