Summer has come and gone but you can still dine al fresco in The Garden Room, an all-day restaurant set in the heart of The Merrion’s private garden.
An exciting new pre-theatre menu will be served here exclusively throughout the duration of the Dublin Theatre Festival,which is taking place from September 27th to October 14th. The menu focuses on Irish food and ingredients from both the land and sea, showcasing the best produce that our country has to offer.
The menu will launch on Thursday, September 27th and guests can avail of a two course (€21.95 per person) or three course (€26.95 per person) menu.
To kick off the show, there will be a selection of autumnal starters such as Chicken Liver and Foie Gras Parfait and Pear Caramelised Pecan and Blue Cheese Salad with Shallots, Cherry Tomatoes and Rye Bread Croutons.
The main act will include Seared Organic Salmon Fillet with charred broccoli and basil aioli, Grilled Minute Steak with Garden Room chips, watercress and peppercorn sauce and Sweet Chilli and Soya Marinated Pork Belly with coriander, bean sprouts, chilli, red onions and bok choy salad.
For the finale, guests can choose from a delectable selection of sweet and savoury desserts: House made Ice Cream, Coolattin Cheddar Cheese with Fig Jam and Blackberry and Orange Pavlova.
Summer may be over but the show must go on and we can’t wait to indulge in this theatrical dining experience!
