Bewley’s Café new small plates and cocktails

Bewley’s Café is bringing a taste of the world to Dublin diners with its new small plates & cocktails experience

The new Thursday to Saturday evening offering provides those looking to dine in  Dublin with a simple yet sophisticated offering. Sample a delicious selection of  mini dishes inspired by Executive Chef Alex Marcucci’s rich heritage and made  from fresh Irish ingredients paired with expertly mixed cocktails in the inviting  surrounds of Bewley’s Grafton Street Café. 

Something very different is brewing at Bewley’s this autumn… For those who enjoy  catching up over cocktails combined with a few light but delectable dishes, Bewley’s invites you to  sample its new offering – the Small Plates & Cocktails experience presents a menu of delicious mini  dishes bringing a taste of the world to your table, all expertly created by Bewley’s Executive Chef Alex  Marcucci inspired by his own rich heritage using fresh local Irish produce. These are all complemented  by an exciting cocktail and drinks menu, including Bewley’s famous coffees, providing the perfect  solution for those craving a simple yet sophisticated dining option in Dublin. 

The small plates menu includes a sumptuous burrata with wilted samphire, confit chorizo, white wine  reduction, and toasted rye levain sourdough; homemade marinated olives with toasted rye levain  sourdough and Aran Islands Seaweed kimchi; a flavourful Atlantic crab croquette; beetroot risotto;  Irish short rib with smoked pancetta, pearl onion, and Honest Farm mushroom; Burren Smokehouse  salmon with caramelised onion and tomato chutney, preserved lemon yoghurt, avocado, and brown  soda bread; meatballs with a spiced tomato sauce and parmesan; plant-based chilli, cauliflower  yoghurt, rye lavosh and toasted Kells five seeds; lasagne made with Irish lamb and mint ragu and  Valrhona 70% dark chocolate; and a cheese selection that includes Ballylisk Triple Rose, smoked  Carrigaline, Wicklow Blue, Janet’s Country Fayre chutney, grapes, caramelised walnuts, and rye  lavosh.

Delicious cocktails include the Bewley’s Signature Espresso Martini made with istil 38 Vodka, Bewley’s  Coffee Liqueur, and Single Origin Coffee; a Bewley’s Irish Coffee made with Single Origin Coffee,  Jameson Irish Whiskey, muscovado syrup, and cream; the Stormy Brew, a simple mix of sweet,  mellow rum, spicy ginger beer and zingy lemon, finished with a long-lasting coffee aftertaste; a  Strawberry and Mango Gin Sour made with Glendalough Gin, mango purée, and Bewley’s Strawberry  & Mango Cold Brew Tea; as well as a classic Mimosa. The extensive drinks menu also includes a wide  selection of red, white and sparkling wines; beers and cider; spirits; soft drinks; and, of course,  Bewley’s coffees and teas. 

The Small Plates & Cocktails experience will take place in the Mezzanine and Front Café in Bewley’s  Grafton Street Café on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings beginning October 13th from 5.30pm  with the last bookings at 9.30pm.
