Irish Whiskey Society Presents – Is Three the Magic Number? Triple Distillation in Ireland, Scotland and the USA

While triple distillation has long been associated with Irish whiskey, it’s also a tradition in the Scottish Lowlands, and newer distilleries in Kentucky and Canada have decided three’s a charm.  For our October tasting, Society member Liam Smith will be comparing blends, pot stills, bourbons and single malts to discover whether three is the magic number.

Doors open: 7:30pm (please wait in the bar before this time so we can set up the room) Tasting begins: 8:00pm sharp to 10pm
