Lovers of opera will be thrilled to learn of the Lismore Opera Festival pop up at Kildare Village, featuring as part of the ‘From the Isle’ summer festival line up. Visitors to Kildare Village will enjoy these ‘Sounds from the Isle’ as they while away their Thursday evening on 28 July from 6:30PM. Why not make an afternoon of it and enjoy a sensational summer barbecue at Le Pain Quotidien in advance of these musical talents from 4PM.
Throughout the same weekend, visitors will also be invited to discover the culinary secrets from some of Ireland’s most talented food creatives at Kildare Village’s Food: From the Isle summer tastings and workshops. Taking place on Saturday, 30 and Sunday, 31 July, a very special appearance from leading Japanese cook and Tipperary native, Fiona Uyema, will take place at the Zwilling boutique from 1PM – 4PM. Soak up all there is to know about Japanese food as Fiona hosts cooking demos and signs copies of her cookbook, ‘Japanese Food Made Easy’.
