The much anticipated Charlotte Quay, officially opened its doors last August in a privileged waterfront location at Grand Canal Dock. The stylish restaurant maintains the standards for great food and a welcoming atmosphere that has made such a success of its city centre sister restaurant ‘Coppinger Row’.

The place is the latest venture by Marc and Conor Bereen, and the kitchen is headed by Chef Killian Durkin who has created a range of menus innovating on classic dishes with an international feel, taking inspiration from the flavours of the Middle East in particular.

Conor Bereen has created the interiors at Charlotte Quay, with many specially commissioned features and bespoke furniture and fixtures. Richly textured and tactile elements contrast with a smooth and sleek structure inspired by the light dappled water around two sides of the restaurant. Green Connemara marble, a high shine pewter bar, deep dark oak and glowing brass, set against polished concrete floors and floor to ceiling windows, create a cleverly detailed interior that complements rather than distracts from the ever changing view out over the water.
