The Cliff Townhouse are providing a luxurious treat for seafood lovers this September as they host their fourth annual Oyster Festival.
Diners can enjoy exceptional seasonal produce from Michael Kelly’s famous Galway oysters to Carlingford oysters, plus delicious Harty oysters from Dungarvan which are sourced just minutes away from its sister, The Cliff House Hotel.
These delectable molluscs will be served in the elegant and stylish Oyster & Champagne Bar at The Cliff Townhouse. The bar is situated at the back of the magnificent dining room overlooking St. Stephen’s Green, and is sumptuously decorated in an Art Deco fashion making it the perfect location for such an experience.
Chef Sean Smith continues to demonstrate his ease and expertise with seafood with an intriguing selection of special oyster dishes. The exquisite menu for the festival includes a crispy oyster with marinated melon and honey pepper dressing, Dover sole with a herb crust, oyster and cucumber sauce and sea trout with samphire, an oyster beignet and soy & ginger dressing.
As part of the Oyster Festival festivities, enjoy Oyster Bar Happy Hour in the handsome Oyster & Champagne Bar or take part in the exclusive oyster masterclass on Thursday September 10th where you can enjoy a glass of bubbly while enjoying a unique demonstration by chef Sean Smith.
