El Celler is the one of the newest addition to the Blackrock’s flourishing dining scene. El Celler offers an authentic Spanish experience, with a selection of traditional tapas and dishes as well as a carefully designed wine list that combines wines from prestigious regions of Spain and other European countries.

Mireia Ferrer Canals, originally from Barcelona, runs El Celler and for her, the place is an opportunity to share her culture and heritage through food: “I love cooking for friends and family and now I have the chance to cook and bring part of my origins, Spanish and Catalan, in a place I fell in love since the first time I saw it.”

“Stepping outside was almost like waking up, we had left Barcelona and were back in the South Dublin suburb out in the chilly autumnal night, warmed not just by our coats but by the though that such travel was possible by simply walking through El Celler’s door.”

At El Celler all ingredients are sourced locally, where possible are organic. Chose from Para Picar (light bites), Vegetarian, Pescado & Marisco (Fish & Seafood), Carne (Meat) tapas and Postres (Desserts) to create an authentic Spanish feast according to your own tastes.

The wine list at El Celler showcases both prestigious and up and coming Spanish regions as well as a handful of old world beauties. There’s also a thoughtfully curated by-the-glass selection, as well as Champagne, Cava, Rose, Dessert Wines and Vermouth. Mediterranean beer, Estrella Damm, and a selection of soft drinks can also be ordered.
