The Wild Geese Irish Honey Liqueur has taken home Double Gold at the 2022 SIP Awards. This prestigious competition is the only competition with solely consumers as judges, and the medal is the latest in a series of awards won by The Wild Geese Irish Honey Liqueur.
The Liqueur beat a host of competition – with over 1,250+ spirit and mixer submissions to the SIP Awards this year. The Double Gold medal marks an outstanding spirit which consumers judged to qualify for the top percentile of their given categories.
Wild Geese Irish Honey Liqueur is made with Wild Geese Whiskey, natural honey from Tipperary and Kilkenny, and a secret blend of spices carefully selected to bring out the character of the whiskey and honey. Our recipe is inspired by St. Gobnait, Ireland’s Patron Saint of Beekeepers, and it was crafted over long months of experimentation. The recipe is kept a closely guarded secret to ensure continued uniqueness of the product. A percentage of all sales is donated to preserve natural bee stock for future generations.
Andre Levy, Chairman of The Wild Geese producer Protégé International said: “We are incredibly proud to have won the Double Gold Medal for The Wild Geese Irish Honey Liqueur. To have been selected from a judging panel of consumers, and to have received unbiased consumer feedback is a huge source of pride for us, as it reinforces the true quality of our products, which have been recognised around the world by almost 70 prestigious international awards.”
Other products in The Wild Geese’s award-winning range include Untamed Irish Whiskeys, The Wild Geese Premium Rum and The Exiles Irish Gin. Since its introduction in 2002, The Wild Geese Irish Whiskey, three times recognised as Best Irish Whiskey, has come to represent the very best that Ireland has to offer. The Wild Geese Honey Liqueur now joins it at the top of Ireland’s drinks selection.
