Following the phenomenal success of last year’s ‘Vintage Mad hatter’s Afternoon Tea’, Limerick Strand Hotel is inviting guests once more to “tumble down the rabbit hole” and enjoy the wonderful world of Afternoon Tea.
The Terrace Bar will take guests on a fantastical feast, with a Vintage Alice in Wonderland themed Afternoon Tea served on vintage china and table wear.
Dainty sandwiches on homemade bread including the Smoked cheddar and Limerick Baked Ham, Chicken Salad and The Burren Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese and Cucumber, served on freshly baked bread. There are classic home baked sweet scones with butter and the Pantry fruit preserve range. Gluten free options available also.
This culinary whimsy continues with sweets such as ‘Queen of Hearts Mini Banoffee’, ‘Curiouser and Curiouser Chocolate Marquise’, ‘The Cheshire Cat Macaroons’, and ‘The March Hare Mini Cupcakess’. All enjoyed with lashing of hot tea or coffee! Gluten free and coeliac options also available and costs €22 per person.
