Digital Business Ireland and permanent tsb, Ireland’s leading provider of SME and retail banking, announced the winners and runners-up of the prestigious National Digital Awards 2023 at a luncheon ceremony last Friday, with TheTaste.ie winning Food and Beverage Website of the Year.
Spanning 22 categories, rewarding businesses, organisations and individuals who demonstrate digital excellence, the ceremony saw Ireland’s furniture market leaders EZ Living Furniture take home the National Website of the Year Award.
David McRedmond, CEO of An Post – Ireland leading supplier of postal and e-commerce services – was the recipient of the Digital Advocate of the Year Award, acknowledging the company’s digital advancement of postal services during 2022, with the launch of their Digital Stamp.
The sold-out event was held in The Gibson Hotel, Dublin, with guest speaker, Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation, Dara Calleary TD commending the strength and resilience of the digital commerce sector throughout 2022, where many members of the SME community were faced with new challenges to overcome. Broadcaster and journalist, Meghann Scully was the Master of Ceremonies for the afternoon.
This year’s Award series featured over 500 entries from the digital commerce community across Ireland, with new categories such as the Excellence in Digital Accessibility Award recognising businesses who have prioritised inclusivity as a tenet of their digital service offering.
