The Earl Of Tyrone Invites You To Mount Juliet Estate’s 1757 Bar For A Special Curraghmore Single Estate Whiskey Tasting Event

Located in what were the old cellars of the Manor House, find the secret staircase that leads to the stylish 1757 Bar. Here, under bespoke wood panelling, leather banquettes and private booths, find the perfect location to experience the Mount Juliet Estate premium whiskey collection. 

The latest addition to the prestige whiskey offering, is the Curraghmore Single Estate Pot Still Whiskey. The inaugural release of this triple cask matured whiskey offers a true taste of the east of Ireland terroir, made with oats and barley from the Curraghmore Estate in Waterford, less than an hour from Mount Juliet Estate. The 1757 Bar at Mount Juliet Estate will reserve bottles from the first distilled batch of this rare and delicious whiskey in the 1757 Bar for guests to enjoy and collectors to purchase.

To celebrate the addition of the Curraghmore Single Estate Pot Still whiskey to the 1757 Bar’s prestige whiskey offering, Mount Juliet Estate is hosting an exclusive Curraghmore Whiskey tasting event with special guest, the creator of the Curraghmore Whiskey, the Earl of Tyrone, Mr. Richard de la Poer Beresford

Mark Dunne, General Manager of Mount Juliet Estate said, “We are delighted to welcome Mr. Richard de la Poer Beresford, the Earl of Tyrone to Mount Juliet Estate. From one country estate in Ireland’s Ancient East to another. This evening is a special occasion offering a taste of the terroir in this rare whiskey from the Curraghmore Estate, enjoyed in the refined 1757 Bar, this promises to be a historic and memorable evening.”

The 1757 mixologists will demonstrate the perfect pour and create a selection of Curraghmore Whiskey drinks and cocktails to enjoy on the evening. Guests will be treated to a menu of Lady Helen ‘Bites’ specially created by Chef John Kelly and his team, carefully paired with the flavour and aroma notes of the Curraghmore Whiskey. Collectors and aficionados will benefit from expert recommendations on the night. 

The Curraghmore Whiskey Event with special guest, the Earl of Tyrone, will take place in the 1757 Bar, Manor House, Mount Juliet Estate on Thursday September 19th.  This is a ticketed event with tickets priced at €35 per person.
