Christmas Down Under was the theme of Emirates’ annual Christmas party, which was held at House on Leeson Street this week.

Guests, many of whom have flown with Emirates, got together to celebrate another great year for the global airline, which has been operating in Ireland since 2012.

Emirates connects passengers from Dublin twice daily direct to Dubai and onwards to cities across Australia, along with many other destinations around the globe.

Hosted by the head of Emirates in Ireland, Enda Corneille was joined by Roz Purcell and her sister Rachel, Pippa O’Connor and Brian Ormond, Rugby pundit Brent Pope, Stephen Byrne, Louise Cooney, Sean Munsanje and Ruth Scott, among others.

Getting a feel for the destinations, guests enjoyed Tim Tam Australian biscuits, marshmallows, BBQ style food, bubbly and sunshine cocktails.

There was also a little taste of Ireland at the event with showcases from Keogh’s Crisps, Butlers Chocolate and Voya beauty, all of which are available onboard with Emirates.
