To celebrate the end of our favourite season, for one night only, Saturday, 23rd September, Dublin’s award-winning Thai and Vietnamese restaurant Saba will treat diners to an End of Summer party and specially created menu.
Diners are invited book a table from 8.30pm in the stunning surroundings of Saba Baggot Street and will be greeted on the evening with a selection of delicious canapés.
It’s the perfect excuse to sample Saba’s brand new Yanas cocktail too, made with Dingle Vodka, roasted pineapple syrup, lemon juice, cucumber, chilli tincture and Achill Island salt water.
Executive chef Tao has created a mouth-watering four course menu available for just €55 per person with sharing starters including Chargrilled Tiger Prawns, with green tea noodles and mango dressing and Grilled Beef in Betel Leaves, with preserved tofu, pickled garlic and hot chilli sauce.
The menu will also feature Saba favourite, Bo, a fillet of Hereford beef marinated in Chang Beer with cracked black pepper, baby carrots, kohlrabi and ginger green pepper corn soy sauce and Ma Hor, caramelised minced pork placed on segments of fresh pineapple and garnished with a coriander leaf and thinly slice red chilli.
Diners can also choose Stir Fried Whole Lobster, with triple flavoured chilli sauce served with fried rice.
To finish, Saba will serve up a delicious coconut and kaffir lime panna cotta with a pineapple salsa.
The evening will be filled with lots of surprises including guest DJ and spot prizes on the night including dinner for two at Saba Baggot Street, bottles of champagne and some of Saba’s top wines up for grabs.
