Savour a taste of the Wicklow Way this August with a special pop-up event by Wicklow Way Wines at Cullen’s at the Cottage on the Ashford Estate.
This exclusive pop-up and tasting experience will take place on Sunday, August 6th from 1pm to 4pm alongside lunch service at the bistro-style, thatched cottage restaurant.
Founded by husband and wife team, Pamela Walsh and Brett Stephenson, Wicklow Way Wines is Ireland’s first fruit winery and home to Móinéir Strawberry and Móinéir Blackberry Wines.
These luxurious artisan fruit wines are made from the finest Irish berries and handcrafted in small batches at their Co. Wicklow winery.
Founders Pamela and Brett will host this special tasting experience at Cullen’s at the Cottage, showcasing and sampling both wines.
Móinéir wines make for ideal pairing partners with a wide variety of Irish foods, from summer salads to fine cheeses, and are one of a number of artisan Irish products stocked at Cullen’s at the Cottage. Wicklow Way Wines are also vegan-friendly and highly sustainable.
Diners at Cullen’s at the Cottage on August 6th will also have the opportunity to accompany their Sunday lunch with either Móinéir Strawberry Wine or Móinéir Blackberry Wine which will be available by the glass (€7.50 and €9.50 per glass respectively) or by the bottle (€40 and €45 per bottle respectively) throughout the afternoon to perfectly complement the exceptional food offering.
