Conveniently located in Dublin City Centre South, L’ Ecrivain (est. 1989) serves a sumptuous selection of the freshest French & Irish Cuisine, Seafood, Steak, Game & Vegetarian dishes.
It holds many awards, including a Michelin Star (given each year since 2003), and Restaurant of the Year 2011 – Georgina Campbell.
The Staff are always available to take your reservation (and any requirements you may have) by telephone.
Customers can chose from the Ala Carte Lunch, Dinner, Vegetarian or 10-course Dinner Tasting Menus. (Tasting menu available to 9pm.) All dietary requirements are catered for.
The abundant Wine List is well-chosen & includes the best wines available. The bar is for pre & post dinner drinks of all kinds. A pianist plays live music in the bar on Friday & Saturday nights.
L’Ecrivain Restaurant Chef/ Patron Derry Clarke takes pride in creating dishes with the freshest Irish produce for the finest flavours possible, so that the menus may change accordingly.
L’Ecrivain Restaurant has two private dining rooms to choose from. The Malt Room, situated on the ground floor, seats up to 12 people, and the private dining room (Salon Privé) upstairs seats 18 people comfortably, 20 people maximum.
