Dublin’s rejuvenating nightlife scene is reaching new heights with the highly anticipated recent completion of Hyde’s sleek new rooftop bar, nestled just off the prestigious Grafton Street.
The Rooftop@Hyde offers a slick and sophisticated addition to the city’s vibrant social landscape and a much-needed addition to Dublin’s noticeably lacking rooftop bar scene, particularly a new rooftop of this size. The impeccably designed new rooftop bar is 40% inside and 60% outside, but always with overhead cover due to the unpredictable Irish weather. Serving food and drinks Wednesday – Sunday, rooftop brunch Thursday – Sunday and hosting many of Dublin’s coolest DJs all weekend long, Hyde is the spot to visit this summer.
With a sprawling space and an exquisite design, the Rooftop@Hyde is now one of the city’s largest rooftop spaces and is already one of the most in-demand venues for parties this summer. The venue offers a different concept on each of its 4 floors, the standout arguably being its enormous rooftop bar, with views spanning right across the city from the right sea.
The vibe of the recently completed rooftop has been split in two. When you first emerge from the lift you are met with the more refined option, showcasing plush décor and furnishing, stylish lighting and contemporary accents. All carefully planned to combine and create an atmosphere of refined relaxation, typical of renowned rooftops found in cities like New York or London.
However, if you’re in more of a party mood, the second half of the rooftop (closer to the Grafton Street side) has been designed to be the new Dublin go-to spot for rooftop drinks, dancing and dining. Here, guests are met with more of an outdoor vibe (think synthetic grass flooring, blossom trees and outdoor-style seating). This half of the rooftop is the perfect spot to celebrate with friends, which may start with a delicious rooftop brunch and bubbles and ultimately lead to dancing to brilliant DJs.
The four floors of Hyde have been meticulously planned to ensure the Dublin party-goer has it all under one roof. Come 10pm, when the sun has set, patrons are invited to keep the party going in Seek nightclub, which opened last month. The stylish new nightclub is also offering Dublin’s only table bottle service. From Belvedere vodka to Moët, guests can have their private waitstaff, based on the VIP package they book. An offering in Ireland that was noticeably missing, particularly for international corporate clients.
Rooftop@Hyde and Cocktails@Hyde will play all-time favourite throwback anthems throughout the decades whilst Seek@Hyde will offer a more upbeat immersive experience. Celebrate at Hyde this summer and enjoy brunch every weekend while dancing the night away to Dublin’s most sought-after DJs from Thursday to Sunday. The Hyde concept is strictly over 23’s with a smart dress code enforced at all times. For more information, visit www.hyde-dublin.com or follow @hyde.ie on Instagram.
