Go Gourmet This Summer at Gourmet Food Parlour Dublin

Gourmet Food Parlour Dublin, leading independent Irish restaurant group, is encouraging customers to ‘Go Gourmet this Summer’ and to enjoy one or more of the many exciting developments at any of their six restaurants nationwide. The award-winning restaurant group has spent months developing and refining its beloved menus, bringing fresh dishes, flavours and more to customers this summer… but that’s not all. From new dishes to innovative cocktail specials, new outdoor offerings and special events, there is something for every diner to enjoy this summer at their local Gourmet Food Parlour.

The new menu changes are in-depth with much to be enjoyed by foodies of all preferences, whether a meat eater, vegetarian, coeliac or lover of seafood, the team at Gourmet Food Parlour Dublin have much to offer. While the day time menu includes additions such as the Halloumi Bowl and Beef Brisket Bowl, both packed full of flavour, the dinner menu has enough new additions to shake a breadstick at.

Evening diners can enjoy starters such as the Parma Ham Crostini, which comes with blue cheese mousse, wild rocket, warm figs with organic honey and roast cherry tomatoes. Or the Falafel Taco is a new favourite for vegetarian diners, cooked to perfection and packed full of flavour, this starter is accompanied by wild rocket, fresh red onion and pomegranate seeds. Main options include the Braised Lamb Shank, which is melt in the mouth delicious and comes with creamy mash, garlic confit, honey roast caramelised root vegetables, topped with red wine and rosemary jus. The Butternut Squash Risotto, a staple main that is hard to do well has been perfected by Gourmet Food Parlour using coconut milk, fresh chilli, toasted pumpkin seeds and crisp sage leaves.

Desserts on offer include the Chocolate Dome; a feast for the eyes and tastebuds, this chocolate dome has the texture of fresh raspberries and is accompanied by prosecco and raspberry sorbet. A fresh yet decadent dish for chocolate lovers. For those who prefer a fruity kick to their third course, a Mango & Passionfruit Cheesecake is available;this zingy yet creamy dessert is topped with passionfruit flakes and accompanied by rich Chantilly cream. Light, refreshing and satisfying.

There is an Early-bird option available from €28 for two course or €32 for three. Additionally for parents wanting to grab a mid-week meal, children under ten years old eat for free after 5pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings – T&C’s apply.

Not only can customers enjoy delicious food, the drinks list has enough variety to please any palate. From rich reds to sumptuous rosés, crisp whites and refreshing bubbles, the recently revamped wine list is comprehensive. For beer lovers there is Peroni on draught and Guinness micro-draught available and for cocktails, customers can enjoy classics such as Espresso Martinis, Whiskey Sours, Pornstar Martinis and much more.

The mixology experts at Gourmet Food Parlour have partnered with Tribe Gin and All About Kombucha to create a signature summer serve, the West End Spiked Tea (The W.E.S.T), which is an excellent Irish alternative to the much beloved Aperol Spritz. This gin cocktail is mixed with All About Kombucha Organic Ginger & Lemon and homemade Connemara Seaweed, Lemon & Ginger syrup with a dash of Angostura Bitters to create an explosion of flavour. Gourmet Food Parlour customers can avail of 2 for 1 cocktails every Wednesday and Thursday evening throughout the summer months.

For Malahide customers, some new changes at the restaurant will be sure to excite this summer. A new 24 seater decking area has just opened alongside a brand new coffee truck which will serve coffee, grab and go sandwiches and baked goods, which can be enjoyed in the sun on the beautiful new deck. A day by the seaside has never been more appealing.

As if there isn’t enough exciting happenings at Gourmet Food Parlour, fans of the now legendary bottomless Drunch events can mark Saturday, July 22nd in their calendars for the next must-attend event. The festival themed and aptly named ‘Drunchella’ will take place in the Swords, Dunshaughlin and Salthill restaurants from 3-5pm. The ticketed event includes bottomless mimosas, a main course and an additional hour at the table to enjoy reduced priced cocktails and pints, all for just €45 per person. The on-site DJ will be spinning festival bangers from Irish headliners all afternoon long. Customers are encouraged to wear their best festival attire for an afternoon to remember. Glitter, cowboy boots and flower crowns are a must.
