The eagerly anticipated third season of hit TV show Chef’s Table will be premiering on Netflix this September.

Available from Friday the 2nd, this series is called France and will be dedicated to four of the world’s most renowned chefs, each of whom has had a serious impact on modern cooking in France.

Featured in this latest series are Alain Passard, L’Arpege; Michel Troisgros, Maison Troisgros; Adeline Grattard, Yam’Tcha and Alexandre Couillon of La Marine.

The show will delve into the lives of these chefs discovering what inspires them and how their passion manifests itself on the plate.

The filmmakers will be looking at their diverse backgrounds and the evolution of their careers through their chosen cuisines and their quests for sensory perfection.

“The opportunity to shoot a full season in France was a dream come true.” said creator David Gelb, “The significance of French cuisine in the history of fine dining is unparalleled. There was no way we could do justice to the French culinary tradition with just a single film. Instead, we chose 4 different chefs, each representing a different approach and moment within the French cooking landscape. These are the stories of passionate chefs who risked it all, trying to push forward and innovate with the history of French cooking weighing heavily on their shoulders. A Boardwalk Pictures production, Chef’s Table: France is created, executive produced and directed by Gelb. Clay Jeter, Andrew Fried and Brian McGinn return as directors, with Abigail Fuller directing as well. Fried and McGinn are executive producers with Dane Lillegard as Co-Executive Producer for Boardwalk Pictures.
