An incredible floating hotel and spa in the heart of Sweden is the stuff dreams are made of.
The exterior resembles the idea of a natural dam created by floating timber and is complete with a spa and toasty saunas.
Perhaps the most unique feature of the 500 square-metre hotel is the fact that during the summer, it will float on the water and will sit on the frozen ice in winter.
Inspired by the success of Treehotel, this floating open air cold bath will be a year round attraction. Architecture and design is by Bertil Harstrom and Johan Kauppi.
The Arctic Bath hotel is due to open in Swedish Lapland in 2018 and is expected to be quite a popular destination, with booking available six months in advance.
