Two Irish hotels – Adare Manor and Ashford Castle – have received coveted 5-Star ratings in the 2025 Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards.
Highlighting excellence in hospitality, the Forbes Travel Guide is a world-renowned authority in the industry and states that it is the only global rating system for luxury hotels, spas and ocean cruises.
To determine which hotels are the best of the best, Forbes Inspectors “pose as everyday guests—checking in at hotels, embarking on cruises, taking in spa treatments and dining at fine restaurants. They test hundreds of exacting standards that emphasise exceptional service, which accounts for 70% of a property’s rating. The quality and condition of the facilities account for the remaining 30%.”
Conrad Dublin earned a new Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star award, while The Merrion Hotel also received a Four-Star award, as did the ESPA at The Europe in Killarney
Several other Irish hotels gained ‘Recommended’ ratings: The Europe Hotel & Resort, The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin, Hayfield Manor, InterContinental Dublin, The Shelbourne Dublin, Autograph Collection, Trump International Golf Links & Hotel Ireland and The Westbury Hotel.
