SOLE Seafood & Grill
Even the most particular seafood fanatics are always up for the impeccable offerings at SOLE. High-end luxury is to be expected here, from the interiors, to the service, to, of course, the food. How better to enjoy a romantic evening together than by sharing some quality seafood? Their Valentine’s menu runs all week from the 12th-18th of February, coming in at €95 per person. Starting off as you mean to go on, you’re served a Champagne-poached Connemara oyster with Da Vinci Caviar, before savouring scallops & foie gras, and the main event of a 500g Irish lobster. Finish off with a dreamy cherry Clafoutis using Cocoa Attelier chocolate… a visit at SOLE is always one to remember.
Gourmet Food Parlour
On the evening of the 14th, a comforting meal with the one you love sounds like the best way to spend some time together. At Gourmet Food Parlour, you can enjoy their 3 course Chef’s Valentine’s Day Menu for €49 per person, which kicks off with an amuse bouche paired with a refreshing glass of Prosecco, and is followed by a selection of dishes guaranteed to impress you and your date. Pil pil prawns, goat’s cheese bon bons, and prawn linguine carbonara… what a dream! You’ll finish off with a dessert sharing platter, which contains the classic, romance-central dessert – chocolate covered strawberries.
Café en Seine
If you’re not planning a romantic escape to the city of love this Valentine’s Day, head to Café en Seine for the next best thing. The Love Story, coming in at €59 per person, kicks off with a selection of delectable sharing dishes, before you share a tender, slow cooked beef short rib with triple cooked chips, grilled cabbage, mushrooms a la grecque and pepper sauce. Finish off with a decadent, ooey gooey double chocolate cookie with salted caramel ice cream. Surrounded by the atmosphere of love, and refreshing cocktails, a trip to Café en Seine is always a good idea.
Lottie’s
A fabulous spot for any date night, with a view of the open kitchen and the always lovely vibes, Lottie’s has only been around for less than a year but has certainly made its mark. Serving unique dishes with Irish ingredients as the bedrock of the menu, whatever you order at Lottie’s is guaranteed to impress. This Valentine’s Day, you can enjoy a set 4 course menu of their delicious dishes, before heading upstairs to enjoy a couple of drinks with your loved one.
Opium
Everybody loves a theme, and for Valentine’s Day at Opium, they’re doing The Story of Star Crossed Lovers. Delight in a special V-Day cocktail as you head into the stylish venue. Enjoy the delicious flavours of the Asian-fusion menu in their candlelit restaurant, where a 3-course menu (€49pp) will have you set up for the evening. Choose from their Love Birds or Together Forever cocktails for only €10, and thank us later.
The Purty Kitchen
Nothing says love quite like plenty of food and some gorgeous Champagne, and luckily, The Purty Kitchen‘s contribution to the Valentine’s day menus is just that. For €95 per person, you and your date will enjoy a 5 course supper with Veuve Clicquot Champagne pairings. Kick the evening off with a Champagne cocktail reception before settling into to the cosy restaurant or outdoor heated terrace for the night. Asador
Experience flavourful, delicious barbecue at Asador, where their internationally-trained team of chefs bring you the best flavours in every bite. This Valentine’s day, Asador have got you covered with the ultimate sharing menu, perfect for couples and pals alike. Start off with a complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot before diving into two of their amazing starters – barbecue gambas with focaccia, anyone? Asador have all couple dynamics covered, with both a sharing and non-sharing option for the mains. Choose from a delectable Côte de boeuf or dover sole to share, or smaller versions for you to enjoy on your own. Coming in at €119 for 2 people, this is a great spot to spend Valentine’s day.

Keep it casual as you head to this stylish restaurant, where a V-Day Set Menu is up for grabs for only €49 per person. Enjoy some tasty Italian dishes like beef carpaccio and truffle risotto, before finishing off with a tasty dessert. Of course, some special V-Day cocktails are available too, like the Love Potion and Fly Me To The Moon – refreshing, romantic, and oh-so delicious!
Indo-chine
Indo-chine on Leeson Street is a melting pot of Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar with flavours of Malaysia interspersed, giving them their culinary heritage, albeit with a minimalist French slant. This Valentine’s Day, they’ve got you covered with a special menu, starting off with oysters and their handmade dumplings, but the mains are the absolute stars of the show. Choose from a selection of either twice cooked duck, char grilled Irish wagyu fillet, and much more. Finish off your delicious meal with either some chocolate or their special Valentine’s cocktail, but if you’re feeling extra decadent, we highly recommend ordering their beignets – they are absolutely delectable.
Lennan’s Yard
Nestled on Dawson Street, Lennan’s Yard has always been a great spot for drinks when the sun is out, plus, their food is delicious and they’re offering a Valentine’s Menu this year. You’ll be greeted with some delectable crispy oysters on arrival, and of course, a glass of champagne. Kick off your meal with some pan seared scallops and venison carpaccio, before choosing between a whole dover sole or a Côte de boeuf. Finish up with some decadent desserts, and make sure you order a couple of cocktails, as Lennan’s Yard are renowned for their mixology.
Potager
Serving modern Irish seasonal food in their neighbourhood restaurant, Potager is a great spot to visit this Valentine’s Day if you want to spend your day with a group of friends. Available only on the 14th, when you book a table of 4 people or more, you’ll receive a complimentary bottle of champagne for the table. What could be a better bonding night out than one that involves a little bubbly?
