A Taste of 2024: Ireland’s Most Googled Recipes of the Year

As 2024 comes to a close, Google’s Year in Search results give us a snapshot of what caught the country’s attention over the past year and had people turning to Google for answers – or, in this case, recipes. Google has revealed the top 10 most searched recipes in Ireland for all of 2024.

It’s a mix of timeless classics and viral food trends, reflecting Ireland’s love for cosy home cooking, sweet treats, and global flavours.

The viral Marry Me Chicken recipe topped the list, with Rice Krispie Squares, Tanghulu and Patatas Bravas also a popular search. Two cocktails featured in the recipe list this year, the Pornstar Martini and the Hugo Spritz.

Marry Me Chicken

This creamy chicken dish become a viral sensation on TikTok in 2024 – famous for its flavourful sauce made with cream, parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, and herbs that tastes so good you would almost get a marriage proposal after cooking it.
