The Macallan Partners With Two Star Michelin Chef, Jordan Bailey, To Host Fine Dining And Infusion Workshop Experience This May
The Macallan is partnering with Two Star Michelin Star chef, Jordan Bailey, to host a celebratory 200 Years Young tasting dinner that will transport guests on a journey of fine dining and infusion. The Macallan X Bech-Bailey experience will take place Friday, May 3rd in No 25 Fitzwilliam Place, from 7pm to 11pm. Guests will be brought on a tasting journey guided by Joran Bailey and his wife Majken Bech-Bailey. Two centuries have passed since Alexander Reid distilled the first whisky in his curiously small stills; thus began the extraordinary legacy of The Macallan. Now, The Macallan is bringing together whisky and fine dining in a specially crafted and curated menu with paired cocktails.
“Pairing drinks with food is all about enhancing flavours and creating a balance. We always aim to elevate with a pairing, not just complement it. We do this by highlighting certain elements we want to focus on and bringing them to the foreground.” said Jordan Bailey of Bech-Bailey.
Upon arrival, guests will be brought through an infusion workshop by The Macallan brand ambassador, Felicity White, before enjoying a multi-course tasting menu curated by Jordan Bailey with cocktails by Majken Bech-Bailey. Each guest will bring home a gift including a bottle of The Macallan Double Cask 12.
