Stefan Matz has launched an exciting new project, Stefan Matz Catering Consultancy, in a bid to alleviate some of the recruitment and training pressure on the Irish Hospitality sector.
Matz is the multi-award winning ex-Executive Chef at Ashford Castle and previous owner of the Michelin starred restaurant and hotel Erriseask House in Ballyconneely in Co. Galway.
With his 25-year career in some of the best Irish kitchens around the country, Matz will offer a range of services from Exec Chef Services to recruitment and even food photography and styling.
Working in partnership with John Masterson and Warren McElhone, the company draws on over 75 years combined experience in the Irish & international hospitality industries.
The company provides a selection of services, including restaurant and menu concept design and implementation, food safety implementations and maintenance and recipe development specific to an individual venue. These services are available on an ad-hoc basis for specific projects as well as on an on-going fixed term contract.
The team at Stefan Matz Catering Consultancy strongly believe in well-trained staff, so they offer extensive training as part of their services.
Training includes certified food safety training from a basic level up to management level, certified manual handling training, culinary training based on client requirements, right down to food concept and recipe specific skills training.
With demand for chefs and hospitality staff at an all-time high in Ireland and the availability at a low, Stefan aims to help alleviate this problem by recruiting qualified staff from Europe.
This recruitment service takes much of the time and all of the stress out of the process for the relevant establishment.
