Dublin 8 has just gotten a lovely new addition: Salt & Stove, a food shop and delicatessen that quietly opened its doors last week on 79 Clanbrassil Street.
The shop, independently owned, features a combination of treats and healthy ingredients, with plenty of prestigious Irish artisan producers on its shelves. Expect to find fine cheese both local and imported, organic smoked salmon and other complements to fabulous cheesboards, different types of nut butters, seeds, dry seaweed and other super-foods, fine teas, granola, cordials and artisan chocolates.
They also offer takeaway coffee and teas as well as beans from award-winning roasters to take home.
Salt and Stove is currently hiring part-time staff (barista, food preparation and retail experience), to join their small but positive team.
The shop opens Wednesday to Sunday. Current opening hours are Wednesday to Friday between 11:00 am to 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Saturdays 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sundays 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
