If you are an afternoon tea fiend, listen up! Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links has introduced their new Afternoon Tea by the Sea menu. Chef Tom Walsh and Aideen Burke have created a delicious menu inspired by the hotel’s coastal location along the shores of Portmarnock beach.

Served daily in The Seaview from 2.30 pm to 5:00 pm, Afternoon Tea by the Sea is the perfect excuse to relax and savour the panoramic views of the Irish Sea in the sumptuous surroundings of one of Ireland’s finest coastal resorts.
Indulge in a three-tiered feast of sweet and savoury delicacies, including a traditional Scones & Tea Breads tier that is complimented by seafood savouries such as Castletownbere Scallop, torched and served with lime, chilli and coriande.
Using their location as a muse the talented pastry team have created a selection of carefully crafted indulgences to satisfy any sweet tooth. Seaside-inspired desserts include Seaweed, a layered chocolate and seaweed opera cake and a Sea Shell, a sweet almond macaroon filled with white chocolate ganache and a white chocolate pearl.
Afternoon Tea by the Sea is priced at €25 per person or €35 per person including a glass of Prosecco.
