Tea time will never be the same again as Heathrow Airport has launched a new limited edition set of G&T-bags in celebration of the airport’s eight-week long gin festival, which kicks off this Saturday, July 1st.

The three G&T-bags are destination inspired, with the USA bag combining red berries, hibiscus and apple for a sweet and rich taste.

The Swedish bag has a rose jasmine flavour to create soft floral aromas, while India’s G&T bag has a sweet, sour and spicy fusion of lemon, orange, black pepper and cardamom.

The G&T-bags are each designed to compliment a different style of gin and passengers at Heathrow Airport will be able to purchases these limited edition bags with bottles of British gins throughout the festival.

Speaking to Event magazine, Chris Annetts, retail and service proposition director at Heathrow, said: “Gin is a quintessentially British drink and a really popular choice with our passengers and the Gin Festival is a great way to celebrate this fantastic spirit.

We hope to bring people closer to some unique and exciting experiences with the unrivalled range of gin brands across our restaurants, bars and in World Duty Free stores.”

The infused tea bags are available for sale at Heathrow festival throughout the eight week long festival.
