Square Dish – the newest pizza spot in Dublin – will open on No.25 St. Stephen’s Green, just a few doors down from The Shelbourne. The restaurant will serve Detroit-style pizza as well as sharing plates, and it’s safe to say we’re excited for this one.

Square Dish is the creation of Irish husband and wife team Andrew Eakin and Naomi Murtagh, who formerly owned five wine shops (Bottle Apostle) in London and now own an organic vineyard in Bordeaux, France – so we’ve high hopes for a well-curated wine list here.

Speaking to TheTaste, Naomi said that they’re “focusing on a friendly, quality service centred around friends and family – a great place to gather over some hearty, delicious food in a comfortable, casual setting. We’ve been working really hard on getting the site ready and we have worked tirelessly for months, on both the design of the space and on developing the product, so that it’s just right.”

Square Dish will comfortably seat 58 people and is set to open soon, although there is no exact date as of yet. Stay tuned for the latest news as they finalise the restaurant fit out via their Instagram @squaredishpizza.
