Lidl Ireland hosted the Lidl Oktoberfest to launch their range of Alpengut food from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The event took place in a traditional beer tent set up in Dublin’s Meeting House Square where guests enjoyed Bretzels, cheeses, sausages and German beer.
The Original Bergvagabunden band flew over from Germany who entertained guests in Lederhosen for the evening playing traditional German music with trumpets, trombones and accordions.
Guests were treated to goodie bags containing #LidlOktoberfest beer mugs, Lebkuchen and vouchers to purchase the Alpengut range of food which arrives in Lidl stores from September 14th (while stock lasts).
