O’Briens Wine is delighted to host a different type of wine tasting. Join author Bianca Bosker and Master of Wine Martin Moran on an adventure as they explore Bianca’s new book Cork Dork, where she unravels the world of sommeliers and shares her journey to become one of them.
As she stepped into the universe of tastings, festivals and eccentric personalities with absurdly strong opinions about Riesling, she worked to answer a question that anyone who’s into wine has probably asked themselves… Are these people for real? How can you taste and smell things like “petrichor”, “white flowers” or “perfectly ripe sour cherries” in a glass?
Martin will interview Bianca about the book before we begin to taste four amazing wines. The wines we will taste on the evening will reflect themes in Bianca’s ‘Wine-Fueled Adventure ‘. All attendees will get a signed copy of Bianca’s book to take home with them on the evening and a €5 voucher to spend on wine!
