Gourmet Food Parlour, leading independent Irish restaurant and catering group, opens its doors in Arnotts. The landmark deal will annually generate €2.5M in revenue for the homegrown business. With not one, not two but three separate dining options now available from Gourmet Food Parlour in Arnotts, the beloved local restaurant is now open in the centre of the capital and is redefining the concept of dining while shopping.
Gourmet Food Parlour started as a small café in Dun Laoghaire in 2006. Led by Founder, CEO and EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, Lorraine Heskin, the business has since grown exponentially. Since taking over the Arnotts restaurants, the company now employs over 300 people across nine locations nationwide. Specifically in Arnotts, Gourmet Food Parlour has diversified by bringing three unique dining concepts into the department store, including:

The Corner Café by Gourmet Food Parlour is a brand new concept from Gourmet Food Parlour. Showcasing its own unique identity, The Corner Café offers shoppers something sweet. The surroundings are playful, pink and packed with satisfying treats. Taking the concept of Instagramable patisseries that are popular in other European cities such as Paris and London, but adding an Irish twist with the highest quality local produce being utilised. Menu items include the Mango & Passionfruit Mousse Dome, Vegan Chocolate & Coconut Tart and much more.

The Kitchen Bistro by Gourmet Food Parlour is a new, elevated dining concept which has been designed to add a touch of luxury to a day of shopping in the city centre. Bold new flavours are at the centre of this continental dining experience focusing on international flavours and aperitif culture. The Kitchen offers decadent breakfast options such as Wild Mushrooms on Toast and Shakshuka Eggs. From lunchtime, while main dishes such as Chicken & Chorizo Linguine and Irish Sirloin Steak Sandwich are available, customers can enjoy a variety of small plates, designed for sharing. These tapas style dishes include items such as Crab Truffle Mac & Cheese, Gambas Al Ajillo and Wild Mushroom, Mozzarella and Mushroom Arancini. There are also sharing boards such as Antipasti and Roast Mediterranean Veggie Board. To continue the theme of shared dining, customers can enjoy miniature gourmet desserts. The wine and champagne menu offers a variety of top shelf options for customers, with servers on hand to recommend the best pairings.
