Mixing Coffee and Chandeliers – This Glamorous New Cafe-Bar Just Opened in Belfast
Ireland’s coffee culture has been brewing to the point of boiling over in recent years, and with it has come a flood of hipster cafes. However Belfast’s latest opening, Gallery Belfast, has swapped the on trend filament bulbs for chandeliers – which let’s face it will never go out of fashion, and will always make a statement.
The 4,000 square foot ground floor cafe-bar opened yesterday, Thursday 18th of May on the up-and-coming Dublin Road Quarter, a few minutes’ walk from the heart of Belfast City Centre.
Along with crystal chandeliers, the space boasts 6 metre high floor to ceiling windows and an outdoor seating area, accented by clean contemporary lines, and reflective surfaces to maximise light.
In keeping with the cafe-bar’s name there’s feature wall dedicated to striking artwork.
Gallery Belfast is located on the ground floor of a new nine storey residential development. The complex comprises 58 contemporary one and two bedroom apartments.
The development is the latest from the Richland Group.
Gallery Belfast will transform from a cafe during the day to a glamorous bistro and bar by night.
The food and brunch menu is complemented by an impressive drinks and wine list, with staff recently receiving training from Master of Wine Staff Jane Boyce.
