Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran buys Italian Vineyard in the central province of Umbria. As the artist was scouting the area last October, a 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck, but that didn’t deter him from acquiring the property, which has its own vineyard, reportedly the hook that convinced Sheeran to buy.
As the told British newspaper The Sun, he “didn’t want to buy in Tuscany because there are too many English people there. There is a vineyard and the moment I saw it I knew I had to buy that place.” Super-star Sting is one of those people, as the artist owns a winery in Tuscany.
Sheeran, 26, is no stranger to drink-related news; earlier this year it was revealed that he had built a pub in his house, accessible through an underground tunnel.
We’ll have to wait and see if Ed will start bottling any time soon, but his excitement about this purchase makes us very optimistic.
