A delightful example of a well-made Picpoul. Coming from a legendary winemaker and leader in biodynamic winemaking Gérard Bertrand. Located on the banks of Lake Thau near the Mediterranean Sea.
This is a classic example of a well-made wine with aromas of fresh apples and pears along with some floral notes and citrus tones such as grapefruit.
On the palate this wine is crisp and fresh with great acidity. All the aromas flow onto the palate with elegance. A flavoursome and zippy wine, you won’t be disappointed and a good alternative to chardonnay.
Delightful to drink on its own but will work as an aperitif or with salads and sushi.
