On October 5th, guests arriving on the sunshine flooded steps of the new Conrad Dublin were warmly greeting by the staff of the five star hotel with champagne and invited to explore the transformed hotel interior. Fantastic tunes, the clink of glasses and friendly conversations filled the air, with the crisp Henroit Champagne flowing throughout the evening; the perfect pairing to the amazing array of food on offer throughout the entire hotel.

At 7pm guests were invited outside where the amazing Fidget Feet performed a mermerising aerobatic aerialcircus show, abseiling down the front of the building. Once inside, Fidget Feet also entertained guests, from stilt walkers, hoop acrobats and aerial champagne pouring!

Typewriter Poet, Stephen Clarke set-up shop in Lemuel’s bar, inspired by Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels and created completely original, confidential, personalised, on-the-spot poems. Guests were treated to amazing Champagne & Oysters plus Sheridan Cheeses and charcuterie feast in The Coburg Brasserie and the Ballroom was transformed into the Iveagh Gardens, a nod to the hotel redesign of which was inspired by the work and vision of Ninian Niven, the architect of Iveagh Gardens, with incredible food stations and full bars by Diageo and Teeling Distillery plus DJ/Sax Connor McGrath.

Enjoying the event were newly weds Alan Hughes and Karl Broderick, RTE’s Blaithnaid ni Chofaigh, Xpose’s, Ruth O’Neill, Triona McCarthy, model Sam Homan, Sean Musanje, TV3’s Tommy Martin, 98FM’s Luke O’Faolain, Rebecca Shekelton and Thomas Crosse Spin1038.
