Cadbury is calling on chocolate lovers nationwide to create their very own Cadbury Dairy Milk bar that will be sold as a limited edition flavour. Encouraging fans to go ‘go madbury for Cadbury’ people are invited to design unique flavour combinations to become the latest edition to the popular brand.
Entries will be judged on two main components – taste and creativity. With over 90,000 various combinations to choose from contestants won’t be short of inspiration.
Choosing up to three ingredients, including spicy chili, crunchy nuts, indulgent brownie and more, entrants will then give a name to their one of a kind creation and explain the inspiration behind it.
David Shepherd, Director of Research and Development at Cadbury, says:
“At Cadbury we’ve been making delicious chocolate for over 100 years and are always looking for ways to innovate and excite the public with our products. So we thought what better way to create the next iconic bar than to ask the people that love it the most.
This exciting competition closes on 31st July and then judging will commence. The best three flavours will then be chosen from Ireland and England with the finalists visiting Cadbury’s Chocolate Centre of Excellence in Bournville to put the finishing touches on their chocolate creations.
Each of the three bars will then hit the shelves for the public to sample and vote for their winning flavour.
Continuing on David said:
This is the first time ever we’ve opened the doors to our fans to help us create the next bar and we can’t wait to see how creative they get. With different flavours, from nutty, herby and spicy and a wealth of fruity favourites to choose from, we’re encouraging the nation to go madbury and be as bold as possible in what to choose. It’ll be great to see the imagination of our fans shine through and now we have the chance to make the first fan-based Cadbury Dairy Milk bar a reality for our lucky finalists”
