If ever there was a beer to take the name of the King of rock and roll and do it justice, ladies and gentlemen, Elvis Juice might just be it. Both bold and bright in flavour, fruity but unmistakably cool, this is a beer that’s packed full of character and charisma and pours with a swagger to match.
Too often, infused beers bear only the faintest hint of that special ingredient that sets them apart from their peers. I am thankful to say that this is not the case with Elvis Juice as the first taste sets your taste buds gyrating as waves of saliva flood your mouth.
The Citra hops here are accentuated by the inclusion of grapefruit peel in the brewing process and the combination of the two make for a fistful clatter of fruitiness that is different and exciting (much like the man himself).
The most impressive thing about Elvis Juice is perhaps that, even with such a brave and uncharacteristically beery flavour, it leaves you with the impression that you could easily spend a night on this without exhausting your palette.
The king is still alive.
