In this week’s Best Possible Taste podcast Sharon Noonan chats to Failte Ireland Food Champion and Head Chef of the renowned Lemon Tree Restaurant in Letterkenny, Chris Molloy. Chris shares details about the first ever Off the Street Food Fest taking place in Letterkenny, Co Donegal on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July.
Sharon also visits John Liston at Dysert Farm in County Limerick to talk about being a member of the Little Milk Company, a ten family-run organic dairy farm collective across Munster and Leinster.
The festival will see the Lemon Tree teaming up with Letterkenny Artisan Market to celebrate the thriving food scene in the town.
Elke O’Mahoney, who runs Bia Sasta, a company which organises events for food lovers, also chats with Sharon and shares details about her new role as Tourism & Food Skillnet Manager with Ballyhoura Development.
