This is the midweek treat that dreams are made of: an evening of Polish wine and Irish oysters at Sea Shanty, a cosy seafood and wine bar in the heart of Blackrock.
Sea Shanty has teamed up with Polish Wine Fest for a weekly walk-in, ticketed tasting event where the spotlight shines on Poland’s emerging wine producers—paired with seafood dishes crafted by Sebastian Sainz and Elena Segura, including fresh Irish oysters, seafood tacos and many more.
Each week, expect a new lineup of wines and plates, “designed to surprise and satisfy.”
Tickets are just €10 and include a welcome glass of Polish fizz on arrival

From there, explore a rotating menu of seafood dishes (including fresh Irish oysters) and a curated selection of Polish wines available to purchase by the glass or bottle.
Previous tempting plates on the menu at Sea Shanty include Jamaican jerk crab claws; crispy sardines tempura, tamarind curry, seaweed XO sauce & plantain crackers, as well as channelled Wreck Bhaji, made with fresh Mungo Murphy seaweed , harvested from the pristine waters of Galway.
The weekly Wednesday event runs every Wednesday from now until May 28th, from 6-9pm. Capacity is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance via Eventbrite here.
