Oysters, Moët & Chandon Champagne and a long weekend? Heaven. The Purty Kitchen in Dún Laoghaire has just announced a new pop-up: The Courtyard Oyster Bar, which will be a special weekend celebration of oysters, taking place over the June Bank Holiday from Friday, May 30th to Sunday, June 1st.
Set in the open space of The Courtyard at The Purty Kitchen in Dún Laoghaire, the oyster bar will run daily from 2pm to 6pm.
You can look forward to freshly shucked oysters served three ways with a classic shallot mignonette, a bold Bloody Mary dressing, and a refreshing dulse granita

All oysters will be sourced through George’s Fish Shop in Monkstown, the long-standing seafood supplier for The Purty Kitchen.
The selection of oysters will be priced at €11 for a trio, €20 for half a dozen and €36 for a dozen beautifully dressed oysters.
To complement the oysters, a curated selection of especially curated drinks will be on offer, including Moët & Chandon Champagne, Whispering Angel rosé from Provence, Domaine Gautheron Chablis, a classic Bombay Sapphire Dry Martini, a Smoky Mezcal Margarita, and of course, a perfectly poured pint of Guinness! The event is supported by leading drinks distributor Edward Dillon & Co.
This unique pop-up is set to be a relaxed, summery celebration of great Irish seafood and world-class drinks – here’s hoping for some sunshine!
