After launching in April with Kwanghi Chan’s book, WOK, The Cookbook Club’s next event will welcome popular TV chef Sham Hanifa and his brand-new book, AGAK-AGAK, on Sunday, 21 July from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
In collaboration with Blasta Books, the small but mighty publishing powerhouse, The Cookbook Club celebrates the storytelling behind food and is hosted by its founder, Mary Kilduff, in the beautiful banquet hall of Camerino Bakery in the Irish Museum of Modern Art. Guests will get an exclusive first look and taste of AGAK-AGAK before it hits bookshop shelves on 25 July.
The menu will be carefully crafted by Chef Hanifa, so expect a mouth-watering menu of dishes that incorporate all the flavours of Chef Hanifa’s diverse heritage, which includes Chinese, Thai, Indian, and Malay influences, along with a Q&A and signed copy of AGAK-AGAK to take home.
