The Terrace at The Shelbourne, the relaxed little plaza at the heart of The Shelbourne with a view of the sky, will transform into The Champagne Terrace by Moët & Chandon this summer, from 12th May through to the end of September.
With a stunning floral installation bringing the prettiest summer vibes, The Champagne Terrace will showcase the fine Champagnes from Moët & Chandon, along with a selection of elegant Champagne cocktails.
Head chef Garry Hughes has designed a beautiful seafood focused menu to complement and enhance the Champagnes, including the classic Champagne pairing of a half dozen coastal oysters for €21, or try a Dublin lawyer at €40 or share a delightful seafood platter for €65. The Moët & Chandon Champagnes available are Moët & Chandon NV at €30 a glass or €150 per bottle, Moët & Chandon Rose NV at €35 a glass or €180 per bottle, Moët & Chandon Ice NV at €39 a glass or €195 per bottle, Moët & Chandon Vintage 13 at €46 a glass or €230 per bottle and the Moët & Chandon Vintage Rose 13 at €50 a glass and €250 for a bottle.
There are four elegant and summery Champagne cocktails (€18), including the Grand Dame, with delightful notes of peach and jasmine topped with Moët & Chandon Champagne; Purple Passion, a vibrant and summery combination of violette liqueur, Grand Marnier, clarified mint pineapple cordial, peach bitters and Champagne; French 1824 with brings together Angostura 1824, pomegranate liqueur, lemon juice and Moët & Chandon Champagne; and the Shelbourne Velvet combining the Shelbourne Irish Whiskey Stout with Moët & Chandon Champagne.
