Dublin’s legendary culinary festival, Taste of Dublin 2024, in association with international home furnishing retailer, JYSK, returns for 2024 from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th June in its new location, the historic Merrion Square. It is expected that more than 34,000 visitors will attend the iconic food and cultural four-day event.

The best of Irish and International chefs will once again inspire audiences sharing the latest food and cultural innovations at the new M&S Food Chef’s Kitchen. The show stopping line-up includes well known chef and M&S culinary ambassador, Mark Moriarty; JP McMahon aka Mister Eat Galway; food and lifestyle enthusiast, Trisha Lewis; vegan connoisseur, Holly White; formerly of Chapter One and now co-owner and executive Chef at Kicky’s, Eric Matthews and modern food and wellness expert Aisling Larkin. Popular TV Chef Erica Drum will also share her unique and contemporary culinary skills inspiring visitors to create the ultimate dining experience. Furthermore, Two Michelin-starred Sommelier Majken Bech-Bailey and Head Chef of popular fish restaurant, Goldie’s in Cork, Aishling Moore will make their debut at this year’s festival.
All discerning taste buds are sure to be satisfied with the varied range of pop-up restaurants and with taste explosions guaranteed at specialty ramen restaurant Nomo Ramen, Steak restaurant Bovinity and Irish bistro style restaurant Neighbourhood. Returning to this year’s exciting festival menu is the ever-popular Dosa Dosa Indian Street Food, and King Sitric with its iconic oyster bar. Chocolate aficionados are in for a treat as Tony’s Chocolonely Chocolate Making Experience makes its much-anticipated festival return.
New to the festival this year, is the Tanqueray Gin Bar experience and the renowned O’Brien’s Wine Masterclasses. In another first for the event, Disney+ through an interactive visitor experience, will be creating iconic dishes made popular by FX’s Emmy award winning comedy drama series, The Bear. The Bear is about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty found in the sense of urgency and the steep, slippery downsides. All episodes of The Bear are now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
The festival also invites visitors to an exclusive party like no other with a special Bingo Loco experience. Bingo Loco has taken the world by storm by flipping the traditional game of bingo on its head and adding interactive elements full of throwback anthems, confetti showers and incredible prizes. Music lovers can also relax and enjoy the summer beats at both the Bulmers Music Stage and Mastercard Music Stage with popular Irish acts such as ABBAesque, Spring Break, The Swing Cats, The Victory Dolls and Jake Carter plus many more, performing across the four days.
The Taste of Dublin 2024 festival programme with a pinch of mouth-watering food inspiration and a splash of summer cocktails accompanied by a hint of disco dancing all beautifully presented in the surroundings of Merrion Square has all the ingredients for a truly memorable day out!
