Note Announces ‘One-Off’ Natural Wine Event

In the mood to try some French natural wines with a special food menu to match? This natural wine event hosted by Note on Fenian Street is just what’s needed to ease into the December celebratory vibes.

Note will welcome acclaimed natural winemakers Patrick Bouju & Justine Loiseau for a one-off event on Sunday, December 8th. The duo make vibrantly charming natural wines from old, forgotten grape varieties in Saint-Georges-sur-Allier, a village in the Auvergne region. An allergy to sulphites partnered with a love of nature sparked Patrick’s interest in natural wine and himself and Justine have since become known for structured, fruity and deliciously festive vintages.

Note will be opening some special bottles from the Auvergne for the event, with a food menu to pair from chef Gareth Storey, who has worked in London with renowned chefs like Jeremy Lee and Margo Henderson and now lives in France. Gareth has a love for offal dishes and adapting classic French & British recipes, so we’re excited to see him bring his cooking to Dublin. Note says to “expect tripe sandwiches and chips plus some cheese from the Auvergne.”

No tickets or booking required – simply pop down from 1pm onwards on Sunday December 8th for a few glasses and some bites.

This is the latest in a series of collaborations by Note, who recently hosted chefs from London’s Cafe Cecelia and Perilla.
