Terenure sees the opening of an exciting new contemporary neighbourhood restaurant, CIRCA, headed up by chef Gareth Naughton. Naughton has an impressive resume built up over the past 13 years. Following stints at Saison, L’Ecrivian, Suesey Street and Drury Buildings (to name but a few), Naughton has established a brand new venture at the casual but tasteful CIRCA…
“Circa is the type of restaurant I always wanted in my neighbourhood,” says Gareth. “A place where you can sit at the bar with a glass of wine and a cheeseboard or sit in the dining room for a full tasting menu of thoughtfully prepared, locally sourced produce.”
CIRCA is a unique collaboration between friends Gareth Naughton (chef), Emmett Murphy (Celtic Whiskey Shop), Rob Mur and Ross Duffy (both formerly of Drury Buildings). Each has extensive experience with different backgrounds in the Food & Beverage Industry, but share the same ideals of what good, old fashioned, Irish hospitality should be. They have combined this dynamism, passion and love of food & drink to create CIRCA.
“Working on and off as a team together over the last few years means we really know how each other works, we know exactly the style and service we want to achieve – casual neighbourhood dining with high standard in food and service” commented Ross Duffy.
CIRCA is located on 90 Terenure Road North. This destination neighbourhood restaurant is now open Wednesday – Saturday with dinner from 5pm. The restaurant seats 45 including high stools at the bar, where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine or aperitif and nibble on some light snacks from the menu.
