Festive Hot Whiskey Recipe by Ahascragh Distillery
Ingredients (serves one)
50ml UAIS Irish Whiskey
Hot Water
15ml Simple Syrup (or sugar)
Lemon
Cloves / Star Anise
Method
Pre-heat your glass with a spoon to temper it (place a metal spoon inside the glass before filling with hot water)
Pour 50ml of UAIS Irish Whiskey into your heated glass
Add 15ml of simple syrup (or sugar)
Pour in your hot water – filling close to the top
Give it good stir to combine the whiskey, water and syrup
Pop in your lemon, cloves and star anise for the final touches of festive flavouring!
