Sicily has always made some fantastic wine but very few have landed on our shores and what has, really hasn’t been all that exciting, until now. O’Briens have recently taken delivery of some stunning examples. This being one of them.
It has quite an intriguing nose, with aromas of lemongrass, melon, pear, peach blossom and a light herb tone.
The palate is beautiful, so elegant. The aromas flow onto the palate with some great minerality. A medium to full bodied wine with great structure and a smooth body.
A truly delightful wine and one that can be enjoyed solo or perhaps with some goat’s cheese.
