New York-style Italian deli sandwiches are one of our favourite lunch options, so we’re pretty excited that beloved Cork sandwich spot Tongue Tied is doing a menu takeover in Stoneybatter this month.
Tongue Tied started off as a hot sauce brand by brothers Alex and Felix Castaldo from Douglas, Cork, winning awards for its range which includes red chili & orange hot sauce, chilli rayu, hot honey and spicy seasonings.
The duo launched their new venture, Tongue Tied Deli, in The Black Market in Cork last year, and their sandwiches are piled high with gourmet Italian salami with a tasty lashing of their OG hot sauces to pair.
Tongue Tied will be doing a pop up in Bismarck in Stoneybatter on Tuesday February 18th, from 1pm ’til late
Chef Alex Castaldo will be serving up a full menu of their classic sandwiches and a few surprises for one day only. Menu favourites include the Dirty Caesar sandwich filled with chicken, bacon, lettuce; the Marone sandwich, featuring crispy chili oil, homemade basil feta, mortadella, and fresh tomatoes and rocket, and the Bada Bing with Mortadella, Salami, mozzarella, spicy olive salad, lettuce & Tongue Tied mayo.

You can see more information about the upcoming pop up on their Instagram here.
