Competition Closed – Winner Shauna Dunleavey
The Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards, now in its eleventh year, is the most prestigious awards in the Irish food and drink industry. Each year the Irish Qs recognise and celebrate exceptional products from small artisan producers, wholesalers, foodservice and retailers across Ireland.
This year’s judging took place throughout June and July at Leopardstown Racecourse. Our judges had a particularly trying task this year to judge all of the entries, with so many exceptional products entered. The shortlist for this year’s awards has now been announced and can be found here: https://irish.qualityfoodawards.com/IQFDA24/en/page/shortlist-2024
The 2024 awards ceremony is going to be held on Tuesday 10 September at The Round Room, The Mansion House followed by an afterparty at 37 Dawson Street, Dublin. The awards event includes a drinks reception, three-course meal and awards ceremony hosted by Garron Noone.
Garron is an Irish musician, comedian and content creator known for his reviews of food and Irish towns. Named one of Ireland’s “breakthrough stars for 2023”, he has 75.2k subscribers on YouTube and a million followers on both Instagram and TikTok. His stand-up comedy has been featured on the BBC and he recently won the Gossie Award for “Newcomer of the Year”.
